I found a love for fitness 3 years ago, running marathons and races, obstacle races and weight training! Once you get started and find the motivation it actually becomes quite addictive, especially when you have something to work towards The last few months I've steered more towards weight training in the gym but my competitive side isn't fully fulfilled, so...... I'm back in running mode. What better way to start than with a year 2020 target? so.... my goal for this year is to run 1500k! Lets do this

Last year I set myself the target of running 500km, i didnt complete this target. Near the end quarter of the year I gave up. I had a few injuries throughout the year but I was still on target. Then my head just went and I lost all willingness to run at all, in October I then broke my foot which ended my year of running completely.

This year I am not going to let myself give up. I am aiming for 1000km distance for all activities and hopefully 750km of those will be running. I will be better this year. New year and new decade. This will be my year to prove to myself that I can push past the mental block and the physical pain and achieve what I thought was unachievable.

This is my 2020 challenge to myself.

i managed 482km last year so this years goal is to hit 600km, after losing 8 stone I want to maintain my weight loss. I will go to the gym twice a week and run at least twice a week.
