Motivating me to re-kickstart my weightloss journey again, I have decided to set myself the challenge of running or walking a minimum of 5k every day, no excuses, to get myself out there and attain 500k

I'm also going to try and make it more interesting for myself by wearing tee-shirts/tops in the brightest colours or with the funniest slogans I can get my paws on.

500k with a fabulous flair! Red-Face and Sweat-Soaked hair guaranteed.

    It’s wet, it’s windy, I’ve done a full day at work but I’m also feeling fantastic because that’s another 5k under my belt - even though my ponytail is wet and my jacket needs to be put through the dryer.

    Just a quick update today. Easter is over and I’m back on track (even though friends of mine from the children’s ward have given me 3 of their excess Easter eggs)

    Managed 5k before work today.

    Well, this challenge is really working out for me - so far I've lost another 2.5lbs so I'll soon be back down to what I was before November (over two months I gained 13lbs!!) but now thanks to my running & walking combined with my WWs plan, the weight is...not exactly falling off but it's going the right way.

    I'm loving this sunny weather

    had a busy week on annual leave. Decorated the house, attended a 'beer, gin & fizz' festival, and somehow going out to get my K's in fell a little bit by the wayside but I'm back on form (more or less) this week.

    Managed a 5k yesterday after work, a 4.43k this afternoon (and that's after a quickie of a 1.31k before work) my feet are a bit sore but it feels great to be out, using my Zombies Run app, getting into the story again. (you have no idea how much I [Runner 5] missed Sam Yeo's voice)

    What a grey drizzling day it is, still got my 5k in and once again managed to catch the early bus in to work. That’s after I got up early and did the dishes, swept the floor, cleaned the stove and put a load of towels in to wash. I’m on fire this morning.

    Another quickie and I forgot to take a lot of photos but after a week of truly atrocious weather conditions that kept me from going outside unless absolutely necessary, it was nice to be out again.

    Even if I did somehow accidentally stop my running app just as we got to a crucial bit of the ending of season 2!!
    But never mind, I started it up again and managed 5k anyway (because a 5k done in bits is still 5k after all)

    still trekking on towards my goal.I could not do it today as the UK weather, never stable at the best of times, has been pretty unpredictable!

    but never mind, my Mad as a March Hare medal AND my Wardrobe Medal arrived - that means I have the complete set and I was practically on edge waiting for the postman, like a little girl at Christmas, lol.
    Also, on the weightloss front, I think I'm doing pretty well, I'm definitely feeling much more fabulous than I was.

    And one of my besties finally came over and met my lovely fur-baby. I am ashamed of the fur-babhy for being such a tart, as she was all over my friend like a rash lol.

    What a let down, after 3 days of glorious sunshine, I woke up to hammering rain. My walk was shorter than usual but I still managed a half decent distance.

    And i’ve been enjoying my lunch breaks outside with a friend, plus one of my parcels from a clothing company i’m now an ambassador for arrived; life’s not all bad, lol

    I know, I know, i’m late with an update again, apologies but i’ve been busy.

    Weight loss continues, slowly but it’s coming off, to the point I can actually find stuff in clothing sales (yay!)

    It’s also nice to see the sun again! I’m currently on the bus to work after this mornings 5k walk and very much looking forward to my mug of hot coffee!

    just a nice quiet walk today - which got me away from the chocolate I store in the freezer because it's my treat on saturdays. It was a nice day to be out, chilly but kept the chill off with use of my jumper and a hoodie 'borrowed' from my beloved Mr Psycho.

    I enjoyed being out even if my earphones did die when I was 3/4 through the walk which broke the immersion in my running app, but never mind, I hit my target for the day xx
    (oh, and I went ahead and applied with the clothing people asking me to be an ambassador. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. The worse they can do to me is change their minds and say 'no thank you' - though I will then point out that THEY approached ME first, I didn't approach them)

    oh my gosh, this Annual Leave of mine is flying by faster than I can blink. Today I went out with my mother for a walk from my house to town and back again, which found us doing a whopping 8k! Wow!

    Also had a weird moment this morning where I posted a photo to instagram and apparently got approached by a clothing line from the states. Not entirely certain they're legitimately interested in me or if they're just pranking me. I will look into it, hear them out, read the literature, see if it's something I want to do (and, more importantly, if the clothes will fit me!)

    Fabulousness abounds as my parcel from America FINALLY arrived, and with it my new UTTERLY Fabulous work out leggings and tops. I am overjoyed.
    As I'm off on Annual Leave this week I've taken the opportunity to sleep in a little bit except that the cat always lets me know when she wants feeding and it's usually at around 6am. So oh well.

    I've started following one of the Aaptive workouts on my phone 'Start Getting Stronger' so all my body hurts like crazy but weirdly enough, that makes me feel good.
    In order to stretch out a few of my muscles (I can't take a bath just yet as I have to go out and pick up my beloved Mr Psycho) I picked up my keys, my Random Hippo, my phone and earphones and I went for a nice long walk in the lovely cool air.

    Glad I did as it kept me away from the chocolate and the ice-cream in the freezer. I want to get on the scales and see a BIG loss on saturday.

    And look at me, making progress towards my 500k goal
