    So if you hadn't guessed by my username I'm a little obsessed with ducks....I know I'm a little weird but for 2019 I want to push myself in 2016 i fat shamed myself online 2017 i lost a bit of weight 2018 i gain the weight back and some i lost my confidence i stopped working out I've lost my social life my free days are spent at home in my pj's so 2017 as the title says i will transform myself in all aspects only this time using this as motivation i will keep it up and keep going.

    So the challenge to accomplished 1000km in 2019 (currently i barely walk 2km without being in pain)
    To lose 4 stone (i join Slimming world the 2nd Jan)
    To go back to the gym on a regular basis..

    A little silly one get a makeover as crazy as it seems i haven't had my hair cut in nearly 4 yrs. I've been trimming the ends myself.

    Day 71

    For some reason these two weeks of blogs not uploaded i know i typed them up but they have disappeared but wow 79 days into this challenge and although the weight is slowly falling off and like at a slower pace than a snail my stamina for walking/running is improving, im able to a lot more and longer distances without the need to stop i reached my top step count this Saturday just done and smashed previous records out of the park though i was knackered on sunday, but i know i have to build up more as in 5 weeks i will be at Disney and i know there's going to be a lot of walking round parks

    Day 49
    Its weigh in Wednesday but i can update that on Sunday, though not feeling it this week i think last week was such a shock to the system however on the plus side i have been walking so much more in fact over a period of a week i have doubled me steps from someone whom 49 days ago would get a bus into town rather than walk (i live 15min walk) or do food shopping online rather than walk to the shops i think I'm doing okay

    Monday i officially hit over 10,000 steps i haven't done this in a very long time and my fit bit thingy buzzed and a little dancing trophy appeared i tried to snap a pic but it vanished before i had the chance i was on my way back from the cinema with a friend and laughed.

    Once the month end is over i can add all my KM's I've built up over this month and put them towards my next Eat, Sleep 100KM medal.

    thrown in a pic of my favourite meal in the last 7 days ham and mushroom farfalle all done slimming world friendly so completely free (well you still pay for the ingredients!!!)

    Day 46

    Well since my last blog on Thursday ive continued with my walk was planning on a little jog yesterday but as with life a spanner was thrown in n I had to hunt for a new tele after sorting that n then setting it up I was done for the day oops n today I ended up helping a friend all day however it did mean a ton of extra walking so I still got my steps in though I don't think my tracker could keep up n missed a good few thousand steps it should have read well over 10,000 in steps but only logged 6000 but more than normal 4 a day of rest ‏ — feeling tired

    If you've got through all the spam of blog updates then wow that's amazing


    Last night was the normal Weigh in Wednesday and i was surprised with a 2 n half pound LOSS yep that's more than my first week which means im on target for that stone before i fly to New York/Orlando in 7 weeks just a 1lb a week plus a extra 1/2 somewhere and ive got done

    sent off evidence for my 3rd medal too which i absolutely love!!!

    So here to the rest of the week and i'll be back on sunday!!!!!

    Day 41
    I know I'm a day late, n theres no excuses ive picked up sone kinda viral bug or something leaving me really physically drained I slept most of saturday although I pulled myself together n managed a small walk to town did some shopping n had to get a taxi back I couldnt move my legs were like heavy weights

    Sunday was virtually the same still it meant time at home I could cook some scrummy meals wen I was awake
    Found out sprouts dipped in peppercorn sauce is totally yummy!!!!

    Day 35
    And sorry it's a day late to check in on my challenge but for the girl who barely walked anywhere January I didn't do to bad its defiantly given me motivation to beat the mark I set though the weekend of once again travelling n catching up on sleep has put me a little behind

    Weight lost this week i lost half pound so that brings it bck even with the week b4 and with just over 8 weeks till orlando im really kicking myself to give it my all

    Day 27
    So bit of change for the weekend and alot of travelling which meant I couldn't do as much walking as planned..however any opportunity is a good one I spent lots of time on train platforms catching a few trains actually 9 over 2 days but between killing time even if i looked silly i would walk up and dwn the platform edge multiple times
    1 to keep warm it was freezing
    2 to get my steps in...

    Even eating out this weekend I managed to stay fairly good with my choices

    It's not even 8pm though the travelling has knackered me out in ready 4 bed!

  • Day 23 weigh in wednesday

    So it was a little half pound the other way this week not a huge surprise but a bit gutted but it's 10 weeks till the big USA trip so onwards n moving forward its a chip in the road a mini pothole

    This week is get back on it 100% laser focus for dinner tonight i had chicken cooked in my pressure cooker with broccoli, butternut squash, sprouts (can't get enough of them), peas n rice n im well n truely stuffed

    Would post a pic but was too yummy to dig straight into!!! ‏

  • Day 20 and a sunday night catch up

    Today was spent meal prepping lots of variety meals for work
    Lasagne, sausage casserole, fish pie, chicken tikka 18 mini meals all packaged up ready to go with lots of veg to fill me up.

    Walking side i completed my 50k challenge on Friday so onto the next one and a start at building towards my 100k challenge

    I've started walking longer routes home too to build up my km's also a way to get fitter

    Well here's to wednesday n another weigh in

    Day 16....

    Firstly apologises for Sunday end of week report but there really wasn't a lot to write I haven't been feeling to well n my foot has really troubled me but onwards n upwards im bck 85% fit so walking is back on

    I have purchased myself a fit bit kinda thing too cheaper version but does similar stuff as my phone wasn't always picking things up accurately also monitors my sleep (which makes for interesting reading) so as of Feb I can use that to record my challenges


    As it Wednesday that means weigh in Wednesday so to add an update with slimming world and a further 1.5 LOSS bringing my total to 3.5lbs but it's still a LOSS and I have promised this time I will do it more slowly so I know it WILL stay that way

    Tonight once I got home I cooked steak new potato's n sooo much veg it looked that good the smoke alarm went off

  • Well it's me day 9 n my first weigh in...

    If you've done SW ur know how it feels that 1st weigh in well that was me today n boy was I nervous im my own worst critic so whatever it was I was bound to kick myself

    I've eaten so much fruit n veg been 100% on plan n if truth b told probably spent more time peeing at work than doing my job!!!! (Sorry TMI)

    The benefits I'm sleeping slighlty better I have terrible insomnia so getting a better sleep pattern is a bonus my bloated tummy is reducing so going in the right direction


    Well enough waffling it was a LOSS 2LBS


    But to me not enough but it's in the right direction!!!


    On to the walking so remenber that blister well it went down but what we discovered was I'd actually burst a blood vessel in my heel....how I have no idea its healing but taking a while so my progress is slowing down a bit for the time being!!!

    Well thats enough for now I'm still irritated it wasn't more than 2lb but there's always nxt week see you Sunday!!!!!!

    Wednesday seems ages ago but as promised here I am with my Sunday update

    So thursday through to today 100% on plan food wise loading up on plenty of fruit if truth b told I haven't had that much fruit in ages...also managed to walk a few kms each day more even in the office getting up walking about

    Which brings me to saturday and my 1st achievement of sorts a long time ago I told my friend when she came home i would join her 4 park run or at least see her at the start line shes got a pb of sub 30 so friday night i set my alarm n wen saturday came around stuck to my promise u can see in the pic i was less than thrilled it was mild n muddy but I did it although I did a brisk walking 5k I certainly felt it so did the blister I got as a seal of approval!! N woke today with a sore hip n very stiff...

    In completing this though even if it means temporary pain it also means I gained my 1st of many for 2019 medal mad medals too n the pain will lessen with more walkin n weight loss so win win!!

    Over on the food today I tried butternut squash for the 1st time in waffle shapes very nice I will deffo have them again combined with some of my fav veg n pork medallions

    Well over n out this duckling needs to prep the lunch n fruit for tomorrow's work bag!!

    Day 2 Well it nearly started with family emergency

    Breakfast 2 poached eggs
    Mid morning snack 1 apple half a dozen strawberries n grapes
    Lunch break salmon pasta loaded with veggies
    Followed by more fruit n water

    Tonight I finally re joined slimming world and got on the dreaded box

    Also achieved roughly 5k walking between work n slimming world group.

    No more foodie updates till Wednesdays but I'll check in with walking progress on Sunday night

    I kinda feel really silly ive been writing n blogging each week since I've started this challenge but on just realised I don't think they have been going on my challenge page #oops so tomorrow I will upload all the entries off my normal page its also weigh in wednesday n although I've been suffering with some kinda viral bug no sickness or anything but my body is exhausted n I want to scream as it just won't move

    So begins my 2019 challenge im the kinda person that do an online shop instead of walking to the shops (I don't drive) but today I put on my trainers (my 1st pair in 18months) n went to the supermarket to get some fruit n veg cupboard staples. So the mass batch cooking can begin. ‏ — feeling happy
