My goal is to complete 1000K in 2019, not from my daily steps but focused fitness walking and running. I'm a newbie to running so January was all about walking, I'm currently about to start walking/jogging my mileage on February 1st, but by the end of the year I want to be comfortably and happily running it :) And it all has to be done outside, despite the weather!

The reason for me doing this is I lost my Mum last summer, which happened unexpectedly, and as a result afterwards my fitness levels took a huge nose dive. Basically any type of fitness became non-existent. So some time has passed and it's now a new year and time to set some new goals and to focus on wellness and fitness again.

    Yesterday I moved on from only walking to including jogging AND I finally learned how to combine my results with a photo (about time!). The only snag was it's not recording my time accurately. My jog yesterday was a short one at 12:52 mins as I'd already been out walking earlier but it shows 22 mins when I click through to share. So I'm currently trying to work this out and get it to record accurately...

    My intention was to start jogging on February 1st but with snow and my new Asics I purchased online going walkies my well meaning plan has been delayed. Just a little though. I've still gotten outside for walking with my snowboots, there's just been a little skating instead
    The sun has been out the past couple of days so here's to clear non-icy pavements for next Monday!

    I went out yesterday to do a quick errand but ending up walking 5K because of this sunset. I couldn't help but walk towards it to take it in.
    All the walking I've done so far in January is definitely paying off!
