(As of 23rd December 2018 I'm on 939.2 for the year - plus over 1600 miles whilst 'on the clock'!)

    Another slow week. Woke up with the worst migraine I've ever had on Wednesday, which meant nothing done for 2 days.
    My 10k today was slightly slower than last month when I had a chesty cough - my sciatica hasn't been behaving well this week, and decided to flare up badly about half way round. I still completed though, so I'm happy with that.

    I also cycled 13.49 miles this week (commute to and from work on Monday)

    Running - 5.62 (2x 2k, 1x 5k)
    Warm up & Cool down walking - 1.75
    Commute walking - 3.18
    Recreational walking - 7.11

    Total miles for week - 17.67

    Running - 75.1 (120.9km - still a way to go to my 500km medal!)
    Warm up & Cool down walking - 13.65
    Commute walking - 57.59
    Recreational walking - 14.66

    Total miles for year to date - 161.0
    Target for year to date (based on 1000 miles in year) = 169.87 miles in 62 days.

    Done better with my mileage this week, and am actually surprised I'm not further behind where averages say I should be.
    Plenty of year left to make up the 'missing' 9 miles

    This week I also swam 1.18 miles (76 lengths of a 25 metre pool, so 1900 metres)

    My Dad's due home from hospital on Thursday, which also happens to be my day off work. So I'm hoping to get a short run in before heading up that way to give my Mum some support - lots of jobs done around the house to enable him to come back, several of which he was adamant he didn't want doing so he's likely to get into a bit of a mood. I'm booked in on a 10k race next Sunday, and it'll be interesting to see how it goes as it's the same course I did last month while I had my chesty cough.

    Another quiet week for walking and running - just 4.36 miles to add.
    I need to get my records properly updated so I can see just how much I've started to fall behing target - lots of things are falling by the wayside as I'm spending days off work doing jobs for my Mum while my Dad's been in hospital (it's been just over a month now).

    I did manage some other exercise though - just over a mile of swimming (66 lengths of a 25 metre pool) after work on Thursday, and 13.48 miles of cycling (to and from work on Friday). The chesty cough and sore throat seem to have finally gone which makes me feel more postive about getting active again.

    ??? Really confused as last weeks update seems to have gone AWOL

    Last weeks report only added on 3.74 miles of commute walking on the Friday, and a 10k run on the Sunday (a live event I wouldn't have done had I not paid for it just before my chesty cough started up on 1st Feb)

    This past week has just seen one short commute walk of 1.67 miles - shocking really !! Need to get back to swimming, cycling and running this next week, as I've got several medals to earn before month end :(sweat) Just hoping the final remnants of my cough won't hold me back any longer.

    Pretty shoddy week - saved only by one day of commuting on foot! Just one short run braving the icy pavements on Thursday to complete 100km in January. The snow on Wednesday meant I wasn't driving and buses were likely to be hit and miss, so I walked to and from work. My colleagues declared me to be mental......

    Still a few miles in hand though.

    Starting strong.....

    1,000 miles in the year is an average of 2.74 miles a day

    Went to bed in the early hours planning to do a 1 mile run (plus warm up and cool down walks) today
    When I got up I decided I'd tackle a 5k (which I log as 3.12 miles on my watch)
    Ended up doing 3.5miles - plus 0.59 miles walking (warm up and cool down), making for a total of 4.09 miles

    I'm aiming to update on here every Sunday now ‏ — feeling happy
