MedalMad are now running REAL! Couch to 5k programmes starting in Gloucester. Have you ever wanted to be able to run? Does being able to exercise for FREE anytime, anywhere appeal? Does running just seem a bit too hard? Have you struggled to find a group to join due to timing being difficult?
Week 1 starts with 60 seconds jogs with walk breaks, slowly increasing the running and decreasing the walking over the weeks until you can run continuously for 30 minutes (please note most people don’t run 5k in 30 minutes for quite a while). This group brings together like-minded people to experience the highs and lows of the journey together over the weeks. To celebrate your success and achievement we will all take part in a local 5k Parkrun event together.
We will be looking to role these out across the UK in January. More importantly and as our name suggests you will get a Medal and a MedalMad top on completion of our programmes.
