Slowly getting back into it and have achieved a few more runs - signing up to some more races hopefully will help the motivation.
Cutting out chocolate has helped a little with weight but I need to be much more organised in meal prep particularly for work.
I’ve been traveling a lot for work and that hasn’t helped with constant snacking and coffee shops.
I need to keep the balance of exercise and healthy eating but with 2 young children it is quite difficult. It is all a learning curve and at a quarter of the way through the year I need to learn soon!

Well; Feb hasn't gone as well as January with a combination of not feeling great, snow, husband being away, big deadlines and therefore working late has led to some comfort eating and snacking which has mean that I haven't made very good progress.

A positive step is now cycling to the train station about 1.5miles each way (including up hill on the way back). that is helping the fitness but I need a more balanced approach with food.

    Finishing Feb on 26.5km
    with 75km total .

I will take across weight tomorrow morning and will start again tomorrow.

Woohoo, I have completed my first 10km in quite a while today. It was a lovely off-road run organised by a local triathlon club and was very wet and muddy.
I registered one hour 7mins which I'm pleased with
We even squeezed in a junior parkrun on the way where my 4 year old achieved a pb. Good running day!

Sadly I have not been as successful if weight loss even though I was organised with meal preparation this week. Unfortunately I have put on 0.4kg! Time to start again!

Despite the snow I have achieved 14km so far in Feb!

    Total so far: 57km
    Weight loss: 2.1kg

Been a slow week with work deadlines and not feeling well.
To round off January I went out for a short run in the snow. Although cold and a little slippy it was great getting out in the snow.

Nothing lost this week but not gained either.

As a result finishing January at: 43km and 2.5kg lost

Making steady progress building up to a slightly longer run - 8km (although forgot my phone and therefor I didn't record it! Silly me!) and managed slightly more km's this week.
This week I need to work on food although increasing exercise has helped make a start!

16km this week and therefore 31km total
1.3kg lost this week and therefore 2.5kg total.

    31km achieved 469km to go.
2.5kg down and 17.5kg to go.

Making steady progress - managed my first week with two runs in for quite a while! As a result I have clocked 10km this week (two 5km runs).
I also did a weigh in and have lost 1.2kg in the first two weeks.
Pleased to be going in the right direction.

    15km down = 485km
    1.2kg down = 18.8kg to go.
