The 10K (6.2 miles) distance is very popular with MedalMad runners, especially those who have done a 5K (3.1 miles) race but don't feel they're quite ready to take on the half-marathon (13.1 miles). It is the distance that has the 60 minute marker that everyone aims for. Our 10k Virtual races are a great way to build up your running distances. You can of course complete our challenges in parts, but if you want to top this virtual race leaderboard you will need to complete the 10k in one run or walk.
Below are some of past, present and future 10k virtual races. whether you take on these virtual races in parts or in one go you will receive an amazing medal.
Remember that easy running all the time won't help you run 10K faster. Running longer distances won't make you faster over 10K either. So if you want to top the MedalMad leaderboards Instead of heading out for another steady plod, properly mix up your miles and include the three golden tickets of 10K racing success: threshold, race pace and speed. Running a fast 10K means being able to push the boundaries of comfort a little further that you might think is possible.
