About this medal

This medal was first designed by our team in 2016 for Valentines day! The medal itself is a photo frame that you can use to insert any picture you like inside. We have chosen to re-release this medal for our NHS Heroes this time with a new blue ribbon instead of the traditional red. The photo frame will come with the HEROES of the NHS insert but you are able to change this to whatever you like – perhaps you have someone dear to you that works for the NHS? OR just a loved one that you are missing dearly during this time of isolation? 

How this challenge is supporting the NHS

We have had a number of requests asking us for a challenge that will help you to support the NHS. At MedalMad we don't believe in profiting from national disasters and emergencies and we want the maximum amount possible to go the charity, therefore we have made this beautiful heart shaped photo frame medal and 5km challenge available to all of our MedalMad members at the rate of just £3.60 (to cover the cost of the medal and postage) along with a donation of £10.00 to be made directly to the NHS.  In order to receive your medal you must submit evidence of completing your 5km challenge along with a screenshot showing your donation to the charity. 

Why this way?

• Allows Gift Aid which means the charity receive an additional 25% of your donation
• Reduces VAT and overheads – meaning more of your money goes to the NHS Charities Together Fund
  
• In addition, MedalMad will be donating directly a minimum of £500 (from your entry fees; covering only the cost of medal and postage) and more if we are in a position to do so!
• We recognise the importance of exercise for both your physical and mental well-being, particularly in these difficult times, and are pleased to be able to offer motivation to adults and children alike through our challenges and awesome medals.

Complete your virtual challenge by walking, running, cycling, swimming or using gym equipment. Upload evidence of your completed 5km challenge along with your evidence of your donation to the fund (a screenshot will do).

Medals will be shipped late April.
